Medical Education From Academic to Viral Impact on Patients

People ask me why I gave up my academic surgical practice.

The answer has many facets to it, but a large part was my frustration in trying to educate the medical community about obesity. That's morphed into just fact-checking all the misinformation on social media and elsewhere.

Both of the above comes down to educate people directly and hoping to have a bigger impact than just lecturing to rooms full of other medical providers.

Thanks again to the people viewing this content, and I hope you help me to continue to spread the message that obesity is a disease and not a lifestyle choice, and there is something you can do about it.
